──Aug 27 , 2026China Tube Mill Equipment and Cold Saw Technology: Reliable, Affordable, and Globally Proven

Welded steel pipes are widely used around the world. They are found in everyday items such as furniture tables and chairs, roadside guardrails, scaffolding in construction, umbrellas, automobiles, bicycles, luggage trolleys, photovoltaic brackets, and many other aspects of daily life. As a result, there are numerous welded pipe manufacturers in countries across the globe.
Welded pipes are produced from flat steel plates smelted from iron and steel, through a series of processes including roll forming, welding, cutting, and other procedures.

Therefore, to produce welded pipes, it is necessary to purchase the above-mentioned equipment. Given the wide variety of equipment and the high technical complexity, manufacturers of welded pipe production machinery around the world operate through a division of labor. Specifically, the uncoiling–leveling–shear/welding–looper–forming equipment is completed by one manufacturer, the high‑frequency welding by another, and finally the flying saw and automatic packing are handled by our company, Kangte. Since 1980, China has been able to produce welded pipe equipment of very good quality on its own. Various equipment manufacturers assist each other to complete a project together, and this is still how we collaborate today. Chinese welded pipes are of excellent quality, their prices are much more competitive than those of European and American counterparts, they rarely malfunction, and they have rapidly captured a huge international market.

Saw blades and rolls, as consumables, are also technically demanding products and are produced by specialized manufacturers.

On the welded pipe production line, the final flying saw is a relatively high‑tech piece of equipment, because the saw blade and the pipe must move synchronously at high speed. The earliest hot‑cut flying saw, called the “hot saw,” directly chops the steel pipe with the blade, producing sparks and loud noise, being very unsafe, and leaving large burrs at the pipe end. Since 2007, Kangte has been the first company in China to produce the cold‑cut flying saw (cold saw). To date, we have sold over 5,000 cold saw units to customers around the world. The market is vast because the old hot saws all need to be replaced by cold saws. The difference can be seen in the video.
