1.  Price: YASKAWA price is cheaper than Siemens,Delivery time is shorter.

2.  Contor experience: while we developed cold saw in 2008 we always choose Siemens, since our skill is not too well to control the machine, so that cold saw price is much higher that years in order to cut the costs,we try to use YASKAWA, as our technology is more mature, till now Contor controller CT-III cooperate with YASKAWA working well.

3.  Maintenance: if there has problem with YASKAWA Contor can solve it ourselves, but we need Siemens workers to solve the Siemens problem.

4.   Highest configuration: we can also produce cold saw with Siemens system, but price is higher than YASKAWA, and supply period is extended by 30 days.

As above we suggest use YASKAWA system, best price best working performance.

【Transfer Method】Synchronous toothed belt or Pinion and rack?

1.  Synchronous toothed belt:while client wanna high speed cold saw we will supply this kind of cold saw, in order to reduce car weight the Drive motot is remove to the lathe bed.The belt is Famous brand from Germany, can be used 3 years, should be replaced a new one while it’ s loosen.

2.Pinion and rack: Normally all cold saw adopts this type.

【Hydraulic or pneumatic 】why we choose pneumatic/hydraulic type?

1.Pneumatic: while the material tensile strength is less than 500MPA, thickness less than 3.5mm we suggest only HSS saw blade. Also lighter gearbox.

2.Hydraulic: while material tensile strength is more than 500MPA, thickness more than 3.5mm we suggest HSS and TCT saw blade,enhanced gear box.

【Controller】Why Contor use contor CT-III/ but other supplier use SIEMENS?

Contor company founded in 1992, and we are professional for producing motion controller. We adopts DSP technology, and updated many times, till now CT-III motion controller can realize working softly so that the blade and mechanical running part has more durable. If adopts Siemens controller, you should make much more changes in the controller and that is not professional in flying saw. Flying saw car is a high speed unit, it’s should tracking the pipe and do cutoff immediately, any Inaccurate signal from controller will lead to saw blade broken. So that motion controller is the core technology.

【Controller】Can u supply us the software of Controller & HMI?

Contor can not supply any software, and our software is not PLC can not connect to any other electrical system, we can supply you the whole control system for the tube mill. One controller/HMI has unique program, while you wanna buy a new controller/HMI please suppy us the serial number (label back controller) of the controller.

【Remote Control】how remote control function working?

Since 2020, Yaskawa servo driver updated, now is digital format, we update our controller as well, so that our controller and Yaskawa motor realize digital connection. Clients need to install a network in the factory, we can control the HMI through network to revise the wrong parameter.

【Shipment】Container size ?

Normally, CTCS 20-60 cold saw machine length is less than 5.8m, one 20GP container is Enough, CTCS 60-165 cold saw machine length is more than 5.8m, one 40GP container fit for one set cold saw. For two blade flying saw need to 40HQ containers.

【Shipment】how about the Package and Certificate of Original ?

The Control console,cabinet,spare parts cases is packed by plywood boxes (Plywood  and man-made board are not required for Fumigation)
