Unlike flying saws from other suppliers, Contor's flying saw adopts a motion controller independently developed by Contor. Utilizing advanced DSP digital control technology, it enables high-speed calculation and data analysis, issuing commands to the servo drive to control mechanical operation. Over the 30 years since its establishment, Contor has undergone six algorithm upgrades for the controller, based on feedback from users' on-site experience. From stable operation to high-speed operation, and now to high-speed stable operation, the saw carriage's reciprocating motion during cutting has become softer, thereby reducing mechanical wear, minimizing vibration, and extending the equipment's service life.
During the cutting process, the controller works in coordination with a gearbox that allows gear shifting, providing different torque levels for HSS and TCT saw blades. This enables the cutting speed to decelerate or accelerate step by step according to the material, ultimately extending the saw blade's lifespan.
Contor's self-developed motion controller encapsulates years of cutting experience and offers greater flexibility in software programming, allowing for more customized functions. This represents Contor's core technology. The company name "CONTOR" is derived from "CONTROL," as Contor originally started by developing motion control systems for flying saws.
Shenyang Contor's laser flying saw is used without saw blades, with smooth and burr-free tube cutting quality, which greatly saves the customer's production costs.
